After famed American genre novelist Ursula K Le Guin passed away in late January, Matt and I decided that we needed to cover one of her books on the book club. Our patrons apparently agreed because they voted overwhelmingly for this month’s winner: A Wizard of Earthsea.
Here’s the Summary:
Ged was the greatest sorcerer in Earthsea, but in his youth he was the reckless Sparrowhawk. In his hunger for power and knowledge, he tampered with long-held secrets and loosed a terrible shadow upon the world.
