This week on We’ve Got Ward, we finish up Arc 6: Pitch covering chapters 6.8 and 6.9! After a contentious back and forth with Tattletale, Victoria and Company convince her to help out without giving up Cradle, and the teams move to stop the Crowleys in Boston. We quickly find out the Crowley’s aren’t just here for a little bit of the old ultraviolence but are actually planning something…big. The heroes scramble to prevent it, but just as they eliminate the Fenway Station Station forces, tinker devices activate all over the city, opening the interdimensional portals to massive, uncontrollable sizes…and killing Jessica Yamada.

How do you think Wildbow successfully manages to hold tension across entire chapters like he does in 6.9? Do tonally incongruent characters like the Anime-squad hurt or help this?
