After a weeklong break to celebrate the holidays, the Podcast is back! Scott and (Supreme Leader) Matt saw The Force Awakens and wanted to talk about it, but this movie is so big we needed two special returning guests: James Gentry and Daniel Freeman. First, we wave goodbye to 2015 by each discussing our favorite and least favorite film of the year. (Spoiler: Chappie. It’s Chappie).
Then, it’s on to Star Wars. We discuss the new film, what we liked, what we didn’t and what the reaction to this movie means for the series as a whole. This is an all spoilers discussion, so maybe don’t listen if you haven’t seen the movie yet.
Next week we will have another Podcast! We don’t know what it’s about yet though because we like to play things loose and free.

Scott, it’s crazy that you should catch that the scene between Finn and his Stormtrooper friend with the blood on the helmet. My exact comment on my first viewing was “This might be the first time they’ve shown actual blood in a Star Wars movie.” haha
